Printing methods of POS products
Digital printing is a fast and high quality printing technique. The results of this technique are as good as in 4-coloured photos. Digital printing is particularly used for the production of smaller quantities and personalised printing work. The print quantities can be very small, even individual pieces. In this case, it is however worth considering the higher price of an individual piece compared to the mass print products of thousands of pieces. The method is also suitable for the production of large series.
Offset is the most common method for many marketing materials, but it is also used in the production of packaging materials. Offset printing results in extremely precise and high quality in 4 colours. Offset printing is a cost-effective printing technique for medium-sized quantities.
Flexographic printing is best suited for large jobs, and when the same subject is used. Packaging materials are generally produced with this method. Flexographic printing results in spectacular 4-colour surfaces to which special colours, such as gold and silver, can be added.
